My First thought was that it was like the Medieval Helpdesk too but it reminded me of this site also – Pencils across the curriculum. Does this ring any bells anywhere?

I used that one today… I told a class that the government had decided to abolish two of the four writing scripts we use here in Japan. They were up in arms, until I told them to look up gullible in their dictionaries.

Fun lesson though! Which two would you get rid of, and how would the world be different….?

It’s based on a paragraph in the book mentioned at the bottomn of the article, but yes, I wrote the text around the ideas – the ‘quotes’ from the ‘people’ contain text from the book itself…
