It’s that ‘let’s workshop it and everything will be alright’ ideal coupled with the ‘fear of the new’ that makes it so funny, I reckon. Hope you get some mileage out of it. Their other great characters are two black and white TV RAF pilots who speak like stereotyped London youth. You might enjoy them too:
